Wangethi Mwangi is a veteran journalist who now serves as the editorial director in the largest media company in Kenya called National Media Group. Before coming there he held several positions at Daily Nation which is part of the National Media Group. The Daily Nation is Kenya's leading newspaper and is a division of the National Media Group. Mr Mwangi also has an interest in media law and economics as well.
A strong believer in free press Wangethi Mwangi knows that the National Media Group has played a big role in the Independence campaign for Kenya. In his current position Mwangi is editorial director both the print and electronic platforms.
